Moxie is more than just “sexy yoga.”
I created Moxie Yoga with the intention of owning your energy, taking your power back through movement, and finding that sense of empowerment through feeling confident and beautiful in your body. Exactly how it is—flaws, scars, stretch marks, extra jiggles (it adds to the shimmy!) and everything in between.
I want you to show up for you.
Because if you’re not proud of you, I’m proud of you.
The giggles, the discomfort, the sobs at the end of class, are all part of the experience. We’re constantly being shamed for how our bodies look, how we’re told to treat ourselves, or worse yet, how to love ourselves.
You deserve all good things.
Moxie Yoga is my way of embodying that through my love of yoga and being a hype queen. I want to extend that energy through every aspect that I can.
Each instructor will have their own experience, on some level, of not loving or appreciating the body they call home. Your body is the only house you will ever truly own and you deserve to love it all.
As with any of my classes, it’s a judgement free zone. It doesn’t matter if you’re graceful, if you can flow, if your hips can move with agility, or if you feel weird running your hands along your body and through your hair.
What matters is that you show up for you. Don’t forget what that looks like below the surface level discomfort. There’s so much love to give back to yourself.
